As our Business Development Manager for Commercial Loans, you will work closely with our strategic partner, Think tank to develop and drive the growth of our Commercial Loan products. You will be responsible for promoting Commercial Loans to our community of Brokers and staff; and growing our overall commercial business.

Our client has a thriving business in all facets of commercial finance. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic sales professional to lead and grow our Commercial Loans portfolio.

As our Business Development Manager for Commercial Loans, you will work closely with our strategic partner, Think tank to develop and drive the growth of our Commercial Loan products. You will be responsible for promoting Commercial Loans to our community of Brokers and staff; and growing our overall commercial business.

This dynamic and diverse role is responsible for a range of activities in conjunction with our state sales teams to drive volumes in Commercial Loans portfolio.

These include;

  • Develop and drive strategic business plans to increase the market share and profitability of our clients Commercial Loans.
  • Providing 1:1 coaching (face-to-face and over the phone) to our sales teams and existing brokers, assisting them grow knowledge of our clients Commercial Loans opportunities.
  • Increase penetration of the groups Commercial Loan sales amongst brokers, capitalizing on the value of our clients relationship proposition.

This role will be based in Sydney.

Who Are You?

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in the finance or third-party broking industry in commercial finance, business development, training and account management.
  • Past performance in target-based sales roles will be advantageous.
  • Ability to lead and manage high performing sales teams to achieve in a target-based environment.
  • Experience in positively managing funder relationships.
  • A hands-on, collaborative and positive approach to work.
  • Customer and solution focused mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure, self-motivated, energetic and results driven.
  • Communication and presentation skills.
  • Negotiation and sales skills.
