Be part of this prestigious and reputable top tier international bank as a key Business Development Manager with the third party sector. Be the champion to draw in business in the residential space with brokers. My client seeks to have a solid performer join their high performing team and create a strong presence in the broker field in Melbourne, Victoria.

Working within a telephone based home loan team in a Business Development role, you will use your exemplary communication skills to develop strategic relationships with mortgage brokers, positioning this bank’s home loan offerings. You will manage a portfolio of finance brokers and be responsible for onboarding and assisting new brokers to understand what is required to get a loan approved, review and package loans, in addition to proactively marketing to the portfolio and new brokers to increase lending volumes.

To be successful for this role you will ideally have strong experience in networking, relationship building and selling opportunities and championing the Company you work for. This requires someone who is passionate about communicating, networking and achieving results in any environment. To succeed in this role you will need to be self motivated, goal oriented and proactive. With the support and mentoring by the leaders, true specialists in the finance industry within this prestigious bank.

Ideally, you will possess the following skills and traits:

  • Working knowledge in mortgage lending with credit knowledge
  • Background in a sales position - managing a portfolio and achieving KPI’s
  • Knowledge of the broker field and nature of their relationships with banks
  • Be able to establish rapport quickly and develop new relationships

You may be a broker, lender or a mortgage service professional in the financial services sector wanting to move into the BDM space with the incentive of making great earnings.
