In this Brisbane based role you, as Business Development Manager, will report directly to the State Manager with a dotted line to the National Sales Manager. Your duties will include:

  • Building a book of new business in bespoke freight sales and solutions
  • Creating and developing new business development opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Engaging and working with key internal stakeholders during all phases of service delivery to customers

It is due to their commitment to careful and sustained growth they are looking to add an experienced Business Development Manager to join their Brisbane based Sales team.

The Role

In this Brisbane based role you, as Business Development Manager, will report directly to the State Manager with a dotted line to the National Sales Manager. Your duties will include:

  • Building a book of new business in bespoke freight sales and solutions
  • Creating and developing new business development opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Engaging and working with key internal stakeholders during all phases of service delivery to customers
  • Managing the CRM reporting system

Your Profile

You will have demonstrated experience in the transport and logistics sector. Project logistics experience will be highly regarded. You will have highly developed communication skills and proven history in developing relationships. You will have evidence of completing thorough research on your customers and tailoring service offering to their needs.
