This role will be based in metro Brisbane, with regular travel to customer premises. In this role, you will report to the State Sales Manager. You will be responsible for product sales to industrial, distribution and manufacturing customers. Typically, medium enterprises and larger companies will be your customers and will fall under your remit. As part of an international business, you will have all the materials and resources required to seek out, develop and finalise sales contracts.

They are a successful exponent in providing products on a project basis as well as on an as needed basis. They also have site audit programs that are highly respected. They have a network of offices, distribution facilities and branches Australia wide. They are looking to add an experienced Business Development Manager to their team to manage sales and service delivery to their industrial, distribution and manufacturing customers based in Brisbane.


The Role

This role will be based in metro Brisbane, with regular travel to customer premises. In this role, you will report to the State Sales Manager. You will be responsible for product sales to industrial, distribution and manufacturing customers. Typically, medium enterprises and larger companies will be your customers and will fall under your remit. As part of an international business, you will have all the materials and resources required to seek out, develop and finalise sales contracts. Once the sales process is complete, customer accounts are passed to Account Managers, who are your peers. In this autonomous role, you will engage in business partnering and stakeholder engagement.


Your Profile

You will have demonstrated technical sales experience in the industrial, distribution and/or manufacturing sectors. You will have highly developed communication skills and proven history in establishing and developing new relationships. You will have experience in providing products and solutions that are useful and relevant to your customers’ needs.

Experience in an autonomous sales environment will be highly regarded. Experience in PPE, while not essential, will be highly regarded.
