Randstad are proud to be collaborating with a not for profit client in recruiting for a Business analyst to join their team for a 6 month contract.

Our client’s aim is to connect and keep Tasmanians well by providing efficient and effective medical services and coordination of care. In this role you provide high level advice and expertise in relation to business analysis and deliver project management services by providing planning, delivery and implementation of projects in accordance to the organisations objectives.

As a Business Analyst you will:

  • Analyse the organisations objectives and develop solutions based on their needs
  • Critically evaluate information from multiple sources, decompose information, abstract up from low level information, reconcile conflicts and identify true needs.
  • Analyse processes and systems for issues and improvement opportunities and document current and improved future states in accordance to the organisation strategy, risk and compliance requirements.
  • Provide specialist advice regarding business processes and undertake analysis and research activities
  • Prepare high level documentation, functional specifications, business cases and protocols from a diverse audience
  • Manage projects in relation to re engineering systems enhancements
  • Ability to run structured process mapping interviews, particularly with external stakeholders
  • Interact with Executive Management and Health Stream Leads to confidently provide advice and guidance around Project Management best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience with either PMHC MDS, LMS or THD
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, Visio and MS Project

What you will bring to the role:

  • Demonstrated success in an analytical role, change management and/or business redesign.
  • Highly developed business analysis skills with demonstrated experience in analysing processes and an understanding how to interpret customer business needs
  • Demonstrate expertise in project management processes
  • High level of interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Well developed written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in producing accurate documentations such as business requirements
  • High level strategic, conceptual and analytical skills including an in-depth understanding of political, social and organisations issues
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member
