Sales Analyst - Adelaide

Our client is a Global leader with offices throughout Australia and are recruiting for a Sales Analyst who will oversee Demand Planning strategies. The ideal candidate does not need exact experience but they do need to be comfortable analysing data and trends.

As a Sales Analyst, you will:

  • Work with planning and key account managers to provide the business with required insights on key business drivers as well as on creation and execution of Region strategies
  • Help region understand the category performance along with region’s current and future performance
  • Deliver and communicate tools and resources to region teams for effective execution of cycle plan activities including trade program, brand and New Product Development (NPD) launches.
  • Examine monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports to identify sales patterns and areas for improvement, comparing actual sales data to revenue projections and expectations
  • Regularly prepare reports and presentations for executives and other company leaders. These reports can include data on market performance, competitor research, and general sales trends

Your Experience and Skills:

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a Business or Finance degree, in addition to relevant work experience obtained in a similar role in any industry
  • Is commercially astute and has the ability to connect dots to arrive at possible conclusions
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications are desired
  • Strong presentation skills as you will need to present findings, along with forecasts and projections, to executives and management personnel
