The company:

Randstad has been engaged to recruit a Business Analyst - Operations on a 12 months Fixed Term Contract with high probability of permanency for a highly respected and reputable FMCG business in the Hills region. As part of an ASX listed parent company the business is well positioned for stability and growth. The business is positioned well in the market and requires a commercially focused analyst to partner with the vast operations of the business

The Role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager – Operations, this position boasts the ability for the successful applicant to take full ownership of this position and be a key stakeholder between finance and operations. Responsibilities of the role include, however are not limited to:

  • Provide commentary and recommendations on insights and analysis of weekly results
  • Produce monthly management reports; forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis & KPI analysis
  • Provide monthly analysis and reporting of P&L performance to provide meaningful business insights
  • Providing timely, relevant and accurate analytical support for the operations and supply chain business units
  • Labour budgeting and analysis
  • Be the key business partner to operations managers and their teams
  • Provide analysis and support for multiple ad-hoc projects as required

Candidate Profile:

  • CA/CPA Qualification
  • Large ERP system exposure and experience with Tableau is preferred
  • Strong Excel skills is a must.
  • Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) with excellent stakeholder management
  • Prior experience in a similar role partnering with operations
  • A proactive, can-do attitude
