The NDIA is a large Federal Department in an exciting stage of growth across WA

The Business Analyst will provide assistance with the establishment and ongoing support of the Large Regional Hub. The Business Analyst has responsibility for monitoring, tracking performance, identifying areas for improvement and report against operational KPIs.

The role will contribute to the delivery of the Departments Action Plan ensuring interactions and services are monitored and evaluated for complete satisfaction.

The successful applicant will create links between the corporate and service delivery arms of the site office and be responsible for coordinating clear and regular communications back to National Office.

You will undertake internal reviews of decisions and coordinate the regional response to complaints and feedback within the site.


Responsibilities include:

  • Undertake analysis of regional performance against Key performance Indicators and provide advice on procedural changes as required.
  • Coordinate and undertake analysis of collected feedback.
  • Coordinate all site reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate internal quality assurance processes including sample audit programs and reports on service delivery quality trend analysis, communities of practice and outcomes analysis.
  • Undertake internal reviews of decisions.
  • Coordinate responses to complaints.
  • Ensure staff are following Departmental guidelines and operating procedures.


It is highly desirable that applicants have an understanding of or lived experience in the field of disability.

Required Skills and Personal Attributes

  • Broad understanding and related experience and knowledge in managment and consultating
  • Data monitoring and analysis especially in the public sector; and
  • Generating reports.
  • Experience collecting and analysing data and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Developed oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of internal quality assurance frameworks.
  • Developed communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain networks.
  • Experience working in an environment of change.
  • Adaptable and resilient.
