    We are currently partnering with a State Government department who are seeking an experienced Building Policy Officer to assist in the development of processes and research current techniques, technologies and methodologies.

    The Role:

    Your position in this well supported team will be to support professional projects, encompassing the following tasks:

    • Conduct activities that may include investigations, assessments, planning and change and improvement functions.
    • Select, adopt and contribute to the review of new professional discipline techniques, technologies and methodologies to resolve problems.Undertaking research, analysis, interpretation of findings and preparing technical documents, correspondence reports that support the management of assigned programs, projects, assets, systems and/or services.
    • Undertake research, analysis, interpretation of findings and preparing technical documents, correspondence reports that support the management of assigned programs, projects, assets, systems and/or services
    • Effectively maintain web-based reporting and information systems to ensure accuMaintaining records and systems and contributing to the development of professional standards, programs, projects, assets, systems and/or services.

    Skills & Experience:

    In order to be considered for these positions you will need the following skills and experience:

    • Strong verbal, written and communication skills.
    • Research and Policy experience essential.
    • Experience within the building sector desirable.
    • National Police Clearance required.
