About your new role

You will assist with the maintenance and building of bridges and associated structures around Brisbane. You will be someone who adheres to strict WHS practices. Some of your duties may include:

• Creating forms for bridges, foundations, beams and staircases.
• Building structures on site using wood or putting together metal frames.
• Building and erecting formwork and formwork shutters for pile capping’s, abutments, headstocks, columns and slabs.
• Dismantling casts.
• Measuring, cutting and shaping wood or metal.
• Working closely with your team to pour concrete into moulds.
• Checking work for accuracy.
• Producing concrete blocks to meet project requirements and specifications.
• Power tools experience
• Jack hammering

What you will need to exceed

It is essential that you have the following:

• Drivers license
• Working at height ticket
• Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card)
• Formwork experience
• Concreting experience
• Dogman ticket (Highly Advantageous)
