Reporting directly to the Regional General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of a strata team. About the role:
The Branch Manager in a strata management company oversees the day-to-day operations, ensuring effective maintenance, financial management, compliance, and clear communication among owners, residents, and governing bodies.
- Lead a committed team to deliver exceptional customer service, focusing solely on leadership without individual portfolio management.
- Drive branch performance by exceeding growth targets and effectively managing expenses.
- Utilize expertise in strata functions and legislation to optimize operations and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Engage with clients and colleagues to address complex portfolio challenges and enhance service delivery.
- Foster a supportive work environment, inspire staff development, and attract top talent to build a dynamic and high-performing team.
What you will need:
In order to take up this great opportunity, the successful applicant will require the following skills and experience
- At least 5 years prior leadership experience, with at least 3 years at middle-level
- management, preferably in the professional services industry. E.g. Real estate, financial services, legal, insurance, etc.
- Diploma or degree (preferred) in management or related field.
- Excellent leadership/communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Strong working knowledge of general business operations and human resources procedures.
- Knowledge of (or ability to learn) the role of the client, the strata manager, and how those roles interface with the requests of owners.
- Strong knowledge of financial reports and budgets.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level
