About the Position
As an Experienced Welder, you will:
- Conduct precise welding tasks on marine vessels.
- Accurately read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Apply various welding techniques to ensure high-quality repairs and maintenance.
- Adhere to stringent safety protocols and effectively use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with a skilled team to achieve project goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of welding experience with adaptability to different techniques.
- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker.
- Strong understanding of safety practices and PPE usage.
- A current driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical endurance for demanding tasks.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- OHS Construction Induction White Card (essential).
Desirable (but not mandatory)
- Confined Space Entry certification.
- Fire Sentry Training.
- Working at Heights certification.
