Your New Company/Role:
As one of the well-established construction industry, my client is looking for an experienced Billing Officer to join their team based in Somersby NSW 2250 - Central Coast. This is a permanent full time opportunity. This role is to be based in the office 5 days per week and onsite parking provided. Ideal candidates will have great exposure in processing of claims, contracts admin and overall end-to-end billing experience.
About the Opportunity / Responsibilities:
Reporting into a supportive and nurturing Manager:
Your duties include:
- Prepare, review, and issue accurate and timely invoices to clients for services provided
- Manage and process claims, including labor hire and builder components, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and contract terms
- Assist in reviewing and maintaining contracts, coordinating contract renewals, and ensuring adherence to contract requirements - contracts administration
- Act as the primary point of contact for billing inquiries from clients, ensuring a high level of service
- To work closely with the project managers and sales department
- Generate regular reports on billing, claims, and contracts, providing key insights to management for decision-making
Ideal Profile
This opportunity is for someone who has experience within end to end Billings function with an Accounting background. You will also bring:
- Diploma or Bachelors in Accounting & Finance/equivalent qualification or relevant experience
- Prior experience in a similar role ( 2 years or more ) - experience in construction or heavy equipment industry is highly desirable but not essential
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Exposure to MYOB/MYOB Acumatica system is highly desirable
- Intermediate Excel proficiency
- Someone who can work in fast paced environment
- Strong work ethic
- Able to work with minimal supervision
Benefits
- $70,000 - $80,000 + Super (based on experience and skillset) - can go slightly more for the right candidate
