Are you a classroom management superstar? Do you find difficult student behaviour an exciting challenge and do you love to put this knowledge to good use by training your fellow teachers? This might be the role you are looking for!

In this role you will use your skills and knowledge in collecting, analysing and using data on student behaviour for decision making – school wide, targeted and intensive levels of intervention. Besides this you plan, coordinate and deliver professional learning and coaching (e.g Profiling and essential Classroom Management Skills) and then based on the identification of need, school wide (all staff), targeted (specific teams) and intensive (individualised) coaching of specific teachers.

About you

You:

  • Are an Australian Citizen or Resident with valid work rights
  • Have a valid current registration with QCT
  • Have demonstrated knowledge of whole school approaches to behaviour support
  • Have demonstrated knowledge of evidenced based practices in relation to effective classroom management, the prevention and management of escalated problem behaviour, and the application of restorative justice practices
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a willingness to commit to the college’s Mission, Vision and Values
