Our federal government client is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Automation Tester to join their project team delivering a wide range of digital programs and initiatives that support better digital experiences and improved outcomes for the department and its customers.

As an Automation Tester, you will be required to: ...

Work under limited supervision
Develop and maintain complex automated UI and API software tests in C#
Execute, monitor, and report on automated tests and manage defects
Utilise a custom Test automation framework - Selenium Grid, RESTful API, YAML CI/CD, Docker Container, Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure DevOps, GIT
Follow best practice coding techniques and patterns when developing automated tests
Participate in the department’s delivery framework including Agile ceremonies

The successful candidate must have:

Extensive C# programming experience in large complex environments that utilise Agile iterative development.
Extensive experience developing and executing API and Web Automated tests using RESTful API, YAML CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GIT, Test Data API and Selenium Grid.
Demonstrated experience using coding patterns and principals such as SOLID, Page Object Model, SINGLETON and Page Factory.
Strong personal qualities including well developed communication skills, an ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, sound prioritisation, time management and organisational skills
