    This newly created role will lead a small team of Automation Engineers, delivering high quality Automation solutions to the core business.

    The Application Development Team Leader will work closely with Business Analysts for Automation to capture and refine requirements from SME's within the greater business and then coordinate the effort to develop the solution. Acting as an escalation point for technical questions and issues from the team, this role will provide oversight of all initiatives to ensure quality, compliance and repeatability in Automation builds.

    Specific skill requirements:

    • High level of technical capability across multiple Automation platforms and solutions (UiPath, Ansible, SmartIQ)
    • Ability to build and manage a high performance team
    • A proven record of staff mentoring and coaching
    • Act as technical escalation point for Automation Engineers working on Automation initiatives.
    • Work with Business Analysts, SME's and Automation Product Managers to progress Automation initiatives.
    • Proven problem solving skills
    • Good understanding of emerging technology trends

    Specific Tasks:

    • Overall responsibility for the delivery of high quality Automation solutions to all business units
    • Undertake training and other professional development as required to develop and maintain a good understanding of emerging technologies and trends in Automationand industry verticals

    Required Experience:

    • Minimum of 5+ years in an Automation role
    • Prior experience leading small teams
    • Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
