Very exciting opportunity to step up into an Assistant Director position in a beautiful 75 place, EXCEEDING centre located in the Maroochydore area.

As Assistant Director, you will be aiding the Director in both administrative and front-of-house responsibilities - QIKKIDs knowledge is a must. This is a contact position and you will additionally be Lead Educator in the Junior Kindy room.

We are seeking a professional educator, eager to progress her career who loves to establish positive and meaningful relationships with parents, care givers and the local community!

Essential Criteria

  • At least two years experience as Director in Long-Day Care
  • A minimum of an ACECQA approved Diploma in Children’s Services
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates
  • Valid Working with Children's Check
  • Experience providing leadership and guidance
  • Passion for Children and positive behaviour management techniques


Skills and Knowledge

  • At least 2 years previous experience in a similar position (Educational Leader/2IC)
  • Experience in your room and mentoring/developing your assistants
  • Foster strong relationships with children, families and the local community
  • Demonstrated capacity to help lead, coordinate and supervise your team of educators
  • Effective time management, people management and interpersonal skills.
