ASSISTANT DIRECTOR - CLINICAL QUALITY IMPROVEMENT

As a suitably qualified mental health professional (Psych/Social Worker/Nurse), you will be instrumental in driving clinical quality improvement.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

In your role as Assistant Director of Clinical Quality Improvement, you will be fundamental to improving the lives of ADF members, veterans and their families as you:

  • Manage the expansion of the organisations Adverse Event Review process
  • Identify opportunities for new client safety initiatives and coordinate the implementation of effective, reliable care practices and service improvement activities,
  • Facilitate professional development activities while actively promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Clinical Practice and Governance policies, Accreditation, research and national projects
  • Coordinate and contribute to the development of advice, briefings, papers, submissions and correspondence
  • Provide supervision, mentoring and coaching for direct reports

ABOUT YOU:

  • Must be a qualified mental health professional and have current registration with AHPRA or AASW
  • Qualifications and experience in Patient Safety are highly desirable, as well as relevant experience in leadership and management within the Australian Public Service.
