Randstad is recruiting for an assistant accountant to join a large civil infrastructure company based on the Gold Coast. You will be joining a team who are responsible for delivering on high profile projects and contracts.

Key duties:
- Support the accounting team with the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
- Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
- Assist with Journal preperations, cost allocation, and other adhoc month end
- Manage invoice approval process and good receipting
- Claim preperations
- Provide general support to the finance team as required
Skills/experience required
- 3 years experience in the Assistant Accountant role or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software PivotTabbles, VLOOKUP and SUMIF
- SAP experience is a bonus!
This is a 6 month temporary position commencing the 30th September, with the high possibility of extension.
