Asset Manager (Land and Property)

Work for government managing Metro Renewal program including planning and delivery of the projects.

  • $400 per day + Super
  • Based in Lismore
  • Contract until July 2021

The Role

Have you got previous asset management experience? Would you like to work in the government sector? This role will see you responsible for a full range of asset services to a group of schools. Including delivery of capital works projects and all aspects of facilities management.

This is a contract role until 17th July with the possibility of extension.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a small team of Asset Service Officers including performance and professional development
  • Providing advice on all aspects of asset service delivery
  • Preparing funding proposals and draft briefings
  • Coordinating timely responses following emergencies such as fire, flood and storm damage and arrange temporary accommodation as required
  • Developing project briefs, delivering capital works and facilities management
  • Supporting in the planning and delivery of major capital works projects

Please note: The successful candidate will be required to undergo a police check and obtain a working with childrens check.

The candidate

You as the successful person for this role will come from a similar Asset Management background who will be able to meet the essential requirements for this role which are:

  • Previous Asset Management experience
  • Experience and knowledge of capital works and facilities management
  • Strong stakeholder management skills

Your hours of work for this role will be 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
