At Randstad, we Partner with Australia’s leading Civil and Construction companies. Our projects include construction of major civil projects including roadworks, residential and rural subdivisions and Commercial construction.
Due to increased projects, our clients are looking for experienced (or even Inexperienced) Asphalt Labourers to join their projects in Brisbane and surrounding . They have been awarded 10 years’ worth of work, and are looking for Employees interested in Long term work opportunities.
Duties
...- Working on the Bruce highway upgrade project,
- Use screenboard to spread asphalt
- Operate Roller
- Gravel and asphalt pavements
- Ability to work Day Shift, Night Shift when required and Weekends.
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
- Guide trucks and traffic while moving and tipping
Requirements
- Basic exposure in working in Road construction / civil environment
- MUST HAVE ASPHALT EXPERIENCE
- White / Blue Card
- Ability to effectively and work with others, and follow instructions
- Confidence to work unsupervised or in a team environment
- Physically fit in order to perform manual work
- Able to pass drug and alcohol testing
- Can provide references relating to recent, similar experience
Preferred:
- Roller
- Excavator
- Bob Cat
- HR/MR
