The role is 1 day based in Artarmon.
The rest of the days you will be travelling between centres
These are the areas you would be travelling to:
- Hoxton
- Mudgee
- Armidale
- Tamworth
- Glen Innes


The purpose of the Area Manager role is to provide commercial leadership and operational direction to the centres within their areas through application of a weekly operational schedule detailed in “The Playbook”.

The Area Manager role has full accountability for achieving optimum business results and positive outcomes for all children within their area. Person specification:

• Diploma in Business or equivalent
• Current Working with Children Check or equivalent, or the ability to obtain this
• Current Driver's Licence
• Diploma in Children's Services; or equivalent (desirable)
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (desirable)

Experience:


• A minimum of 2 years successful track record as a field manager across a dispersed network in a service related industry
• Commercial management experience in a service related industry such as retail or hospitality
• Childcare management software – Qikkids and CCMS (desirable)

Knowledge and skills:


• Sound keyboard and computer literacy skills.
• Ability to oversee the planning and implementation of work programs, maintain relevant records and control budgets.
