As the Area Manager, you will directly manage a team of field staff who provide vital care services in client's homes. Key Responsibilities:
- Directly manage and supervise a team of field staff, including recruitment, training, and induction of support workers and nurses.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure field staff are informed, connected, and equipped with up-to-date skills and registrations.
- Lead efforts to enhance client service delivery and maintain excellent client and family relationships.
- Monitor staff performance, including skill validation, leave management, and yearly appraisals to recognize achievements and areas for development.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, handle client feedback, and resolve complaints.
- Foster a positive and unified work environment that reflects our client’s commitment to exceptional aged care services.
- Maintaining confidentiality in all dealings with clients and stakeholders.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven leadership experience managing remote and large teams in the aged care or healthcare sector.
- Strong problem-solving skills, conflict resolution, and the ability to inspire and develop team culture.
- Experience in building strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of aged care quality standards, safety regulations, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion and commitment to Aged Care and the desire to ‘make a difference’.
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR certificate.
