The intention of the Enterprise Asset Data Model (EADM) Implementation project (Project) is to deliver a fit for purpose asset data model in target systems, including associated reporting and system integration between systems of record; SAP, GE Smallworld, ESRI and Maximo.

- Deliver a Security Risk Assessment (SRA) of the project design
- Work with the vendor and the Project team to develop and ensure that all project deliverables that require AAG approval; Solution Vision, Current State Solution Architecture, Future State Solution Architecture, Solution Options Evaluation, Detailed Design Document, are compliant with AAG standards and meet AAG expectations to ensure first-pass approval.
- Responsibilities:
Due to the project schedule the successful candidate must disclose all known leave and or travel requirements for the following 12 months prior to commencement.
You will work at the direction of the Manager – Architecture Delivery, in collaboration with the Corporation’s Architecture team, to assist with the delivery of the following duties and responsibilities as they relate and apply to the Enterprise Asset Data Model (EADM) Implementation:
- Review, update and maintain a current and detailed Enterprise Asset management (EAM) Program Architecture
- Conduct reviews and ensure the project solution is well defined, well documented, viable, cost-effective, and aligned to the stakeholder requirements and the Enterprise Asset management (EAM) Program Architecture.
- Deliver a Security Risk Assessment (SRA) of the project design
- Respond to and resolve architecture queries on behalf of the Project team.
- Provide timely advice and input to EA team to inform architecture decisions and the review cycle of the EAM Program Architecture.
- Work with the vendor and the Project team to ensure that all project deliverables that require AAG approval are compliant with AAG standards and meet AAG expectations to ensure first-pass approval.
- Seek approval for design/technical decisions and approaches from AAG.
- Engage with projects implementing associated systems; SAP, GE Smallworld, ESRI and Maximo
- Ensuring that the architecture repository is updated with information provided by projects as part of architecture governance and applying quality controls.
- As applicable to the Project, participate on architectural governance team(s) and processes to guide and sanction critical architectural decisions for the Project
- Comply with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, corporate policy and ethical standards.
Skills:
- - Tertiary level qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business Information Systems, Information Management, Computer Science, etc.), and
- - Considerable experience in defining and implementing ICT solutions across multiple architecture domains
- - Strong knowledge of IT architecture and IT governance
- - Strong knowledge of Asset Management and Geospatial systems
- - Excellent understanding of technical and organizational dependences across the organisation
- - Mix of IT and business knowledge and ability to apply technology for future business benefit and appreciate innovation opportunities
- - Demonstrates the values and behaviours that contribute to a constructive, high performance culture
- - Ability to communicate complex information to non-technical stakeholders
- - Strong collaboration and presentation skills
- - Strong conceptual analytical skills in problem solving
- - Strong ability to prioritise own work to achieve tight deadlines
