APS6 Service Design
Location: Hobart
Contract Length: 12 months
Hourly rate: $60.26 per hour + super

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Conduct research to identify insights and co-create current state service designs that reflect both participant and staff experiences.
- Facilitate design-thinking sessions to develop and test future service models.
- Ensure the end-to-end service experience is user-centric and aligns with the Digital Service Standard.
- Advocate for the voice of participants and stakeholders throughout the design process.
- Support process design improvements and assist with governance requirements within the Scheme Reform Program.
Requirements:
- Australian Citizenship (this role is only available for Australian Citizens)
- Experience in service design, developing design artefacts, and working in multi-disciplinary Agile teams.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and creative skills.
- Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research.
- Ability to adapt in an environment of change and ambiguity.
- Stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
- Understanding of Human-Centered Design-led thinking.
Desirable criteria:
- Preferable to have prior knowledge and experience in disability, social services or public sector
- Demonstrated experience with Jira, Sharepoint, MS Suite, Creately (or comparable design tools i.e. Miro, Mural) and Qualtrics (or comparable design tools i.e. Dovetail, Condens)
