• Conduct research to identify insights and co-create current state service designs that reflect both participant and staff experiences.
• Facilitate design-thinking sessions to develop and test future service models.
• Ensure the end-to-end service experience is user-centric and aligns with the Digital Service Standard.
• Advocate for the voice of participants and stakeholders throughout the design process.
• Support process design improvements and assist with governance requirements within the Scheme Reform Program.

Requirements:

• Australian Citizenship (this role is only available for Australian Citizens)
• Experience in service design, developing design artefacts, and working in multi-disciplinary Agile teams.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and creative skills.
• Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research.
• Ability to adapt in an environment of change and ambiguity.
• Stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of Human-Centered Design-led thinking.

Desirable criteria:

• Preferable to have prior knowledge and experience in disability, social services or public sector
• Demonstrated experience with Jira, Sharepoint, MS Suite, Creately (or comparable design tools i.e. Miro, Mural) and Qualtrics (or comparable design tools i.e. Dovetail, Condens)
