The role

The Senior Procurement Officer is responsible for a range of ICT procurement and contract management delivery and outcomes. The procurement team delivers high quality procurement advice and end-to-end support to the IT teams and ensuring compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement framework.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience working in procurement in Non-Corporate Commonwealth Entities and a strong understanding of the Commonwealth Government procurement framework.
• Demonstrated experience undertaking end-to-end procurement that includes reviewing, drafting and providing constructive advice on procurement plans, approval minutes, contracts and evaluation reports.
• Demonstrated Contract Management experience.
• Engage and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to communicate, influence, negotiate and manage change.
• Experience in successfully delivering outcomes to deadline, using initiative and responding flexibly.
• Effectively manage competing priorities and strategic directions.
• Certificate IV in Government Procurement & Contracts and experience in Finance One is highly desirable.
