Our Federal Government clients requires an APS6 Policy Officer, and an APS6 Project Officer to work within a busy office that provides a variety of tasks, and requires applicants to take ownership of their responsibilities whilst working effectively within a driven team.

As the APS6 Policy Officer you will be required to:

  • Undertake secretariat and project management activities that ensure delivery within required timeframes
  • Undertake research and analysis on topical issues to inform policy development for grant related matters, provide advice on program risks or evaluate policies or other grant related matters
  • Work collaboratively with internal and eternal stakeholders to support relevant policies and projects
  • Prepare a range of documentation including minutes, briefings and correspondence on grant policy matters
  • As required, support the broader team with administrative duties, including monitoring group mailboxes and assisting with meetings and events within the team
  • Exercise good judgement and sound decision making

As the APS6 Project Officer you will be required to:

  • Assist in the development of capability devolvement documents such as presentations, implementation plans, and e-learning content
  • Develop documentation for communication of capability plans and general communications material such as articles, emails, presentations and for events
  • Develop project management plans for capability and communication work
  • Undertake research and analysis on topical issues on grant related matters to inform capability and communication product development
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholder to support relevant policies and projects
  • As required, support the broader team with administrative duties, including monitoring group mailboxes and assisting with meetings and events within the team
  • Bring your expertise in either a communications or L&D background whilst progressing your policy/program skills
  • Exercise good judgement and sound decision making

These roles are offered on a six month term with the potential for extension, to a candidate who preferably holds a Baseline security clearance.
