One of our Federal Government clients is looking to engage with prospective candidates who are skilled and experienced working in Federal Government and looking for a new opportunity. As an experienced procurement officer, working at the APS6 level, you will be self motivated and capable of bringing your talents in procurement and contract management, stakeholder engagement and communication to our client who values hard work and commitment.

You will bring the following experience to your new role

  • Knowledge of the Commonwealth Financial Framework and PGPA Act

  • Ability to engage with stakeholders to provide accurate and timely advice on procurement, probity and contract management enquiries
  • Ability to analyse complex procurement issues and understand key legislative requirements
  • Ability to successfully manage competing priorities and manage time accordingly

Key responsibilities

  • Provide specialist procurement and probity advice

  • Liaising professionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Review and publish procurement and approach to market documentation
  • Coordination of statutory procurement related reporting;
  • Quality assurance
  • You will be an Australian citizen and ideally hold a security clearance.
