We are seeking a baseline cleared APS5 Web Form Publishing Officer to join a government department for a period of 3 months.

About the role:

An APS5 Web Form Publishing Officer is accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve moderately complex to complex publishing work within an integrated workforce. They are accountable to have and maintain a well-developed understanding of and compliance with relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making, and the Department’s mission and policy requirements.

An APS5 Web Form Publishing Officer will be accountable for organizing their workflow and making independent decisions relating to their area of responsibility. They will interpret and provide advice within the publishing function based on legislation, policy, and procedures. They will undertake specialist, technical research and analysis, conduct reviews, assessment, investigations and perform procedural, clerical, administrative support work to achieve results.

The APS5 Web Form Publishing Officer will coordinate and contribute to the work of a team consistently to a work plan and provide advice and assistance on methods of task completion to team members. They may be a team coach or supervise a team and be accountable to set work priorities, allocate work, and manage workflows and performance. They are expected to be capable of reviewing and developing the quality of work undertaken by others and identifying opportunities for on-the-job training within a work unit.

The APS5 Web Form Publishing Officer will be required to engage and communicate with stakeholders to identify, respond and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and Department outcomes. They will be accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development.

About you:

The APS 5 Web Form Publishing Officer should be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Experience in JavaScript or similar programming language (required)
  • Experience in AEM forms development and-or web development;
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM);
  • An individual who is a team player;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated customer focus.

The duties of an APS5 Web From Publishing Officer occupation in the Department include the following:

  • Provide advice on web form development including style, format and layout.
  • Produce web forms according to applicable Department standards.
  • Review product specifications in liaison with internal and external service providers to maintain knowledge of products and services.
  • Understand web form related issues and problems and work to resolve them.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to meet needs and expectations in relation to the production of products and services.
  • Work collaboratively and operate as an effective team member.
  • Assess and recommend solutions to publishing-related issues impacting on the achievement of desired outcomes.

A baseline clearance is mandatory for this role.
