Your new role:

This high performing and well established Federal Government agency in Canberra is currently looking for an APS5 Project Officer to join their dynamic team for a 3 - 6 month contract. This position is for a start as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:

As a Project officer you will be responsible for providing support to the Director and the team in the delivery of outcomes from the casual workforce review. Your responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

  • Analysing payroll and employment related documents and reports both hard copy and electronic to detect underpayments and over payments of employee salaries.
  • Entering data into spreadsheets
  • Assisting with role assessments for casual positions to determine where over payment is payable
  • Developing and issuing new employment contracts and entering data into Aurion
  • Engaging with stakeholders
  • Providing regular briefings to the Director on the status of investigations
  • Other ad-hoc duties related to the project as required

To be successful:

In order to be successful, you will have

  • Demonstrated experience using Aurion
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience delivering cultural change through influence and using innovative techniques
