Your new company:

This well established Federal Government department in Canberra is currently looking for three APS4 Program Officers to join their team on a non-ongoing contract until June 2021 with the possibility of extension. You will be a part of a high performing team that aims at improving the quality and distribution of the workforce through program implementation, policy advice and consultation.

Your responsibilities:

Your duties will include but is not limited to:

  • Processing a large volume of program applications and supporting the efficient administration of programs.
  • Effectively following program policies and procedures and supporting the development of program change initiatives.
  • Supporting the accurate collection and reporting of program data.
  • Responding to less complex program enquiries and supporting positive relationships with operational partners.
  • Ad-hoc program related administrative tasks.

In order to be successful, you will have prior experience in a similar role coupled with:

  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Can-do and positive attitude
