Then Randstad have an exciting opportunity for APS 4 Planning Support Officers. Working with this Government Department you will be apart of a supportive and highly successful team. In this role you will receive excellent training and have the opportunity to build some really great skills. We are looking for people who have strong organisation, communication skills and the capacity to manage several tasks or requests simultaneously.

Duties include:

  • Provide advice and support on established technical, operational, professional and/or administrative activities, procedures, practices and program/project objectives.
  • Possess a sufficient breadth of program and project expertise to identify, analyse and implement alternative courses of action.
  • Understand the strategic objectives of the team and project activities.
  • Consult and share information with team and maximise team strengths to achieve program, project and business outcomes.
  • Ensuring and promoting high quality record keeping, including competency with IT systems.
  • Promoting a supportive and positive working environment.
  • Promoting workplace practices consistent with agency policy and in accordance with Australian Public Service values and leadership behaviours
  • Share your expertise and technical knowledge with your peers and the broader site team.
  • Conducting internal service delivery processes and implementing best practice and continuous improvement processes.

Experience:

  • Excellent communication both written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work collaborative in a high performing team
  • Be organised and have the ability to prioritise
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quickly and understand complex legislation
  • Display personal resilience and reliability
