About your new Department

A Federal Government Department located in the heart of the city. Priding themselves through national policies and programs that help Australians find and keep employment and work in safe, Fair and Productive workplaces.

Due to Heavy demand in their team, they are currently looking at expanding them team and adding a customer service assistant in their team to help provide day to day support. The intial contract will be until the 30th of June, however there is further opportunities for extensions.

Your new position

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Answering inbound service calls
  • Providing general support and advice both over the phone and face to face
  • Answering general enquiries
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • adhering to minimal KPI's and targets

The successful candidate:

You will show areas of expertise within the following:

  • Ability to work with limited directions
  • Superior communication skills
  • Customer focused
  • Show initiative
  • Great time management skills
  • 2 years previous experience in a role similar
  • A police check will be conducted on offer
  • Ability to have or obtain a baseline security clearance
