The role will provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directly by sound knowledge in service delivery areas. The APS4 Assurance Planning Officer will have a public contact role and may be required to communicate
with and provide advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities of APS4 Assurance Planning Officers:

• Accountability and Work Scope:
  • Under broad direction, undertake moderately complex work that delivers quality outcomes across the Assurance Planning Team.
• Planning and Compliance:
  • Collect and assess key planning decisions in accordance with the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act and Rules.
• Record Keeping and IT Competency:
  • Maintain high-quality records, including proficient use of IT systems.
  • Adhere to process guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Case Management:
  • Research and review decisions related to routine cases.
  • Manage moderately complex cases with support from staff at higher classification levels.
• Administrative Support:
  • Organize the team email inbox and schedule appointments.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Engage with both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
• Key Skills Required:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
