The role will provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directly by sound knowledge in service delivery areas. The APS4 Assurance Planning Officer will have a public contact role and may be required to communicate
with and provide advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities of APS4 Assurance Planning Officers:
- Accountability and Work Scope:
- Under broad direction, undertake moderately complex work that delivers quality outcomes across the Assurance Planning Team.
- Planning and Compliance:
- Collect and assess key planning decisions in accordance with the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act and Rules.
- Record Keeping and IT Competency:
- Maintain high-quality records, including proficient use of IT systems.
- Adhere to process guidelines and standard operating procedures.
- Case Management:
- Research and review decisions related to routine cases.
- Manage moderately complex cases with support from staff at higher classification levels.
- Administrative Support:
- Organize the team email inbox and schedule appointments.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Key Skills Required:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
