Your new company:

Randstad is recruiting for a reputable centerally federal government agency. This government agency is looking for an APS3 Archive Assistant to support the current Audiovisual team.

Your new role:

Working within the audiovisual team archiving and documenting the institutions audio and moving image collection.

In your new role you will be responsible for:

  • Accessioning and cataloguing support of Audiovisual collections
  • Documentation and arrangement of Audiovisual collections
  • Creation of audition sheets and fnding aids
  • Database updates and records management

The ideal candidate:

  • Abilty to work within a dynamic and diverse working environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Undertake basic research
  • Knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, culture and history
  • Previous experience with GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums)
