About your new Department

Located in the South of Canberra, your new branch has been operating since 2016. They are committed to improving experiences with agencies, applicants and recipients through an enhanced and efficient administration process.

Due to rapid growth and expansion, our client is now looking to bring aboard an administrative assistant to help their team deliver excellent service to the broader business.

Your new position

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Monitoring general enquiries inbox
  • Responding to enquiries
  • Filing and scanning
  • Preparing meeting rooms
  • Data entry
  • Maintenance of existing records via organisation records management system

The successful candidate:

You will show areas of expertise in the following:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Show strong initiative
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Previous experience within a Federal Government Department
  • Demonstrated ability to multi task
