• Exciting APS 5 level 6 month contract in a Federal Gov Department
• Looking for an experienced and Communication design and Engagement Officer
• Located in Adelaide SA, flexibility arrangements & meaningful work.

The Co-Design and Engagement Branch provides advice and operational support when engaging with sector stakeholders and the disability community. It is responsible for managing events and activities logistics for all Agency engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educating, informing and liaising with mainstream services to improve participant experience and increase participant social and economic participation.
• Maintaining local relationships with relevant key stakeholders to support effective engagement.
• Working as part of a high performing team to effectively engage with people with disability, their families and carers using a nationally consistent engagement approach.
• Representing the client at external forums and events, providing information and guidance to people with disability, client participants and the wider community.
• Proactively delivering engagement activities and projects against the client Engagement strategy by applying communication and engagement experience.
• Delivering clear, concise and effective messaging to people with disability, their families and carers as well as other community and mainstream stakeholders.
• Managing the state/territory engagement inbox, acting as a point of escalation for the triaging of enquiries and requests.

Key Technical Expertise Requirements Essential:

• Strong Written and Verbal communication skills
• Project support/management
• Engagement and events facilitation skills.
• Understanding of how to design and implement digital solutions to enhance customer or user experience.
• Maintaining a sound knowledge of innovations in digital engagement, including current tools and platforms.
• Writing accessible documents
• Experience with people with disability (is desirable)
