ABOUT THE TEAM
The Legal Support Officer will provide a range specialist and general administrative support services to Federal Prosecutors. The team is focused on delivering timely, quality services to support the day-to-day needs of the legal practice and has a physical presence in each office.
PRIMARY OUTCOMES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Legal Support Officer (LSO) is responsible for providing a range of specialist and general legal support services to the legal practice. Working in some of the CDPP’s smaller regional locations the LSO will also provide general office and property management services.
Working under limited supervision, they will liaise with staff and utilize a range of administrative, legal, and digital litigation tools and systems to support the analysis and management of cases, draft routine workplace documents, emails, and other correspondence.

The successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and will be required to complete a minimum Baseline Security Clearance with the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.
