Randstad is currently working with a Government Department who is seeking experienced and driven Executive Assistants for a 6 month contract with the potential to become permanent at the end of the contract.

As the Executive Assistant you will report to the Executive officer and assist in supporting the Scheme Entry and Entitlement Division by performing the following duties:

  • Provide timely and accurate advice and assistance to the Executive Officer and the Executive Support team
  • Support the Division Executive’s participation in a range of committees, boards and other meetings
  • Liaise and develop close working relationships with all areas of the agency including Executive, Parliamentary, Finance, Communications and the Executive Support Network of Executive Officers and Executive Assistants
  • Support including travel administration and acquittals, workflow and coordination activities. Supporting the Divisions executive assistants
  • Support in the coordination of Divisional response to Parliamentary questions, Senate Estimates, Question Time Briefs and other requests
  • Support in the coordinate divisional input into corporate publications
  • Coordinate monthly and quarterly reporting for the Division and support the coordination of the internal quarterly CEO review
  • Other duties as required.

Experience required:

  • Well-developed communication, liaison, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with multi-tasking in tight timeframes
  • Demonstrate a strong client focus
  • Travel management
  • Coordination and reporting
  • A current minimum baseline clearance
