Within the Albury Wodonga area, our team are currently recruiting a 3rd or 4th year Apprentice Cabinet Maker to join our innovate, industry leading client. This role offers the ability to work on a wide range of projects, both residential and commercial, an attractive rate of pay and a support of both the client and our industry leading recruitment consultants to help drive your career.

about the role

Our client is an Albury-Wodonga based firm with a desire to be different. Their projects can be found in high profile sites locally and interstate with their quality and creativity setting them apart. Due to growth within their business they are seeking a 3rd or 4th year Apprentice Cabinet Maker who is keen to take on any project, no matter the challenge. Successful candidates can expect no two days to be the same, and their tasks could include:

  • Assemble and install of joinery
  • Mix of both factory and on site work
  • Using various machinery, hand and power tools
  • Selecting and preparing materials and components for construction
  • Measure, set out and fabricate fittings as required
  • Read and interpret detailed diagrams, job sheets and cutting lists

skills and experience

To be considered for these roles you will need:

  • To be undertaking, or commit to undertake relevant trades certificate in the Cabinet Making industry
  • Current drivers licence, with a safe driving record
  • White card
  • Ability and willingness to complete work away from home
  • Excellent manual handling skills with a strong regard for safety
  • High level of physical fitness and strength
  • Excellent attendance, reliability and attention to detail
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team and the initiative to work unsupervised
