As a Levies Officer, you will be at the heart of our department's financial operations. Your role will be pivotal in processing and finalising levy revenue and project data, reconciling project costs, and ensuring the accuracy of our general ledger. You will also provide vital support to stakeholders by offering expert advice on services, policies, and compliance issues, while skillfully interpreting and applying relevant legislation and procedures.
In this dynamic role, you will engage professionally across various communication channels, handle essential daily administrative tasks, and play a key part in driving business improvements. Your meticulous attention to detail in managing and maintaining customer information will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our department.
Your Contribution (Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities)
To excel in this role, you will:
- Accurately process and finalise levy revenue and project data.
- Reconcile project costs and ensure the general ledger is up-to-date.
- Provide informed advice to stakeholders on services and policies.
- Interpret and apply relevant legislation and procedures with precision.
- Communicate professionally via phone, email, and in person.
- Support daily administrative tasks and assist the team as needed.
- Identify, report, and address compliance issues proactively.
- Propose and implement business process improvements.
- Manage and maintain customer information with accuracy.
