We are currently seeking experienced HR Concrete Agitator Truck Drivers. Several locations across Melbourne. Great career opportunity.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure the mixing, inspection and delivery of premixed concrete is carried out in a manner that promotes quality and reliability of the product
  • Operate company vehicles safely with due respect to the well-being of both personnel and mechanical equipment
  • Responsible and accountable for a safe working environment, truck cleaning and maintenance requirements and; reporting of safety incidents
  • Daily completion of all documentation as per loads and delivery dockets, time sheets etc.
  • Observe all regulations pertaining to the use of Public Roads
  • Comply with all relevant WH&S legislation

To be successful you must:

  • Have previous experience in the concrete industry (not essential)
  • Have a current HR license
  • MUST HAVE GREAT Knowledge in Reversing vehicles
  • Have previous experience driving a concrete agitator truck (not essential)
  • Have a WHS General Construction Induction Certificate
  • Have a clean driving record
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Be able to work in a team environment
  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Be trustworthy, hard-working and take pride in their work

In order to be successful you will have:

  • A valid HR license.
  • Current copy of driving history.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • Minimum 1-2 Years in commercial HR truck driving experience.

You will also:

  • Be aware and alert of hazards and report any unsafe situations.
  • Have an approachable and friendly disposition.
  • Be willing to go the extra mile for our customers and resolve issues where applicable.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently.
  • Have a professional work ethic.
  • Be physically able to perform all tasks associated with the position.

Desired:

  • Local area knowledge
  • Construction Card (White Card) (not essential)
