Overview:

• Permanent, full-time Administration Assistant role available
• Based in Sydney’s Upper North Shore (near Gordon / Pymble)
• To ideally start in January 2021
• The salary is $66,990 per annum, plus 10% superannuation.

The Client:

• Randstad is recruiting for an elite private school located in the Upper North Shore (near Gordon).
• The vacancy is for a permanent School Administration Assistant to join their College Services Team.
• A great opportunity for a professional Administrator who is enthusiastic, hard-working and pro-active, aiming to learn new skills.

The Role:

• Working in a fast-paced and ever-changing department supporting teaching, operational staff and parents.

Your Duties:

• Undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure
• Provide admin support to teachers (extraction of class lists, formatting, teaching calendars, etc.)
• Providing written communication to parents via email and large mail merges/mail-outs
• Proofread reports and communications (excellent writing skills a must)
• Managing a large database - entering information
• Managing content on the school’s website
• Attend calls from parents to help with a variety of inquiries
• Incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results
• Reception cover when required

Criteria:

To be successful, you will:

• boast a strong administrative background (2yrs+) in a corporate / private company or working in a school, college, TAFE or University
• have advanced Microsoft Office skills (including v-lookup, mail merge, filtering and extraction of reports)
• be Tech-savvy, as you will be working with various types of software
• be a fast and accurate typist (minimum of 70 WPM with at least 95% accuracy for word processing) - testing is required.
• have a high level of flexibility, adaptability and resourcefulness
• have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• have high attention to detail
• be well organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks & multi-task.
