Full Time Temporary Administration Assignment.

My client is currently seeing a full time Administration Assistance to join there team, located in the Brisbane CBD. Currently there is an opportunity for the right Administration Assistance to start there career within the Not for Profit field. The right candidate will have the opportunity to go from Temp to Perm, work within a close working environment that is supported and offers training. The right candidate will have a background in reception, administration and have a good knowledge of using Microsoft suite.

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Maintain a polite and professional approach at all times
  • Be able to priorities work load
  • Be skilled in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Be a team player
  • Have a strong work ethic
  • Have at least 1-2 years working experience in an office environment
  • Be analytical and be able to think on their feet
  • Have very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Has drive and motivation
  • Strong initiative
  • Conscientious of work standards even with time consuming tasks
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Happy to “get hands dirty” so to speak
  • Can follow directions and ask questions for clarification
  • Be empathetic

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Answering phones – office and helpline (Will be ASIST and trained)
  • Checking Mail - in/out, taining certificate mail outs
  • Data Entry
  • General admin (stationery orders, archiving, checking collateral stock levels)
  • Preparing materials and catering training sessions
  • Travel Arrangements
  • Supporting project work
  • MYOB data entry
  • IT experience or database knowledge highly regarded but not essential
