Administration Officer

Are you an administration officer with government experience? If so, we might have the perfect match for you!

  • Government sector experience essential
  • Administration Officer roles across various NSW government departments
  • Emphasis on work-life balance

Randstad are currently working with several state government departments located in Sydney. The departments are always looking for administrative stars to work temporary assignments (typical duration 2-12 months).

We are looking for a strong, experienced administrative or secretarial professional that worked in government previously. You can either have worked as an Administration Officer, Business Support Officer, Data entry or in Records management.

What your role might look like:

  • Providing administrative support to the department;
  • Attending to phone queries;
  • Diary management, travel arrangements and ad hoc team administration;
  • Preparing written correspondence and sorting mail;
  • Record, prepare and distribute meeting minutes;
  • Data entry;

To be successful, you will possess:

  • Previous work experience within government - only applicants with this experience will be considered for this position;
  • Administration experience;
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
