The roleThe Senior Project Officer will work within a high performing team of project managers and technical specialists. Contributing to the full life cycle of projects and work to deliver high quality projects, on time and on budget. Your responsibilities will include:Contract management and procurement activitiesResearch, implementation and evaluation of projectsPrepare and present reports, briefs and submissions to inform the planning process Build and maintain positive working partnerships with key stakeholders Provide advice, guidance and make decisions based on legislation and policiesWhat you will need to be successfulWe are seeking an experienced Senior Project Officer with knowledge of either government policy planning experience or capital planning expertise. Ideally this experience will be gained within a government environment, working on complex infrastructure projects.
