This is a great administration and settlement position within the banking sector. You will be working for a global leader within the banking and financial industry and one of the big four banks. This opportunity will provide you with exposure to various aspects of the banking sector, as you help provide exceptional administrative assistance. This role is based in Sydney's inner west.


What we are looking for.
We are looking for motivated individuals, who enjoy helping people and are able to consistently deliver exceptional customer service and accurate, timely work. Banking experience is not essential, as the right attitude, the ability to learn, adapt and deliver results in a fast paced environment is the key to success in this role.

Your responsibilities:

As a Settlement Officer you will be responsible for:

  • Accurately completing administrative duties such as filing and sending confirmations
  • Identify and accordingly investigate any discrepancies
  • Maintain database integrity by maintaining onsite and off site storage of important documentation
  • Effectively work with all internal and external counterparts to assist with all settlement issues
  • Accurately perform post settlement check of all treasury deals
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures
  • Meet and exceed performance indicators within an accurate and timely manner

Ideally you will have experience in:

  • Banking and financial services administration
  • Add value through your reliable administrative assistance with loan documentation
  • Working with accuracy, and with high attention to detail
  • Review and vet credit approved files to ensure compliance
  • Working in a fast paced environment where resilience and an ability to stay focused is a must
