Your new department

Our federal government partner is responsible for conducting national security clearances for the Australian Defence Force, Government employees, contractors and industry personnel accessing Commonwealth information, resources and facilities.

We are looking for experienced and motivated people across Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra to form dedicated teams to assist in improvement to security clearance process and procedures.

Your new role - Clearance Coordination Centre

The Clearance Coordination Centre team is responsible for the processing of security clearance requests and the processing and coordination of security vetting clearance packs and Personnel Security Files. This exciting opportunity has multiple positions available in Brisbane.

These roles would suit experienced administration officers, high volume data entry officers and/or records officers.

About your role

As a member of the clearance coordination team, you will:

  • Coordinate data and documents relevant to the security clearance process;
  • Monitoring and processing clearance requests for all levels;
  • Monitor a centralised inbox and action enquiries;
  • Administration tasks related to the sending and receiving of files and documents; and
  • Customer service and communication tasks relevant to the completion of the security clearance ePack and documents related to the security clearance process.

Contract length & Pay

The successful candidates will be engaged in a contract until January 2022. These positions will be paid at $30.49 per hour + Super

You will be successful in this role, if you will tick all the boxes below:

  • Must be an Australia Citizen
  • Must hold a Baseline Security Clearance as a minimum or have the ability to obtain.
  • High attention to detail in administration tasks
  • Able to engage with diverse audiences and stakeholder groups
  • Can work well autonomously and part of the team
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office
  • Experience in handling and managing confidential and sensitive information
