Randstad is proud to be partnering with a government department to recruit for multiple accounts payable positions. We are looking for a reliable, organised and experienced candidate available for an April start.

Your specific duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Receiving and administrating incoming invoices in respect of purchases made from suppliers
  • Matching and filing invoices
  • Entering transactions into the accounting system
  • Arranging payments through cheque runs
  • Receiving incoming supplier’s statements and reconciling to the purchase ledger
  • Allocating items of expenditure to cost centres for analysing purposes
  • Assisting in month end reporting
  • Other ad hoc duties required

To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • A minimum 2 years working in a high-volume Accounts Payable department
  • Advanced SAP skills and experience
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively
  • Customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow through
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to take ownership
