Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Officer with experience using Tech1 and looking for casual work? This is a great opportunity to work in a Local Council based in Adelaide.

This position offers Full time hours, starting end of July for 3 weeks.

About your new role

As the dedicated Accounts Payable Officer, you will work across all aspects of creditors and accounting office functions and to help assist the team whilst their Accounts Payable officer is on leave.

What you will need:

  • Experience in using Technology1 is a MUST
  • Familiar with the Accounts Payable model and process in Tech1
  • Experience in managing purchase orders in an electronic environment
  • Understanding of the internal financial controls associated with the creditors role
  • Sound knowledge of Goods and Services Tax and how it applies to goods and services supplied to Council
  • Knowledge of FBT legislation and how it applies to goods and services supplied to Council
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to work within the time constraints of financial cycles.
  • Excellent numeracy and accuracy skills
